Royal Conservatory of Music Graded Exams

Remote practical exams are open for registration on an ongoing basis. Please check all available dates and details with your teacher.

For Piano students (Preparatory to Level 8th), a tuned acoustic piano is recommended. A weighted-touch electronic keyboard (88 or 76 keys) is permitted.

For your exam, you need a smartphone (iOS or Android), tablet (iOS or Android), or a computer with webcam and mic (PC or Mac). A smartphone or tablet is recommended (instead of a computer).

You need a reliable, high speed (1.5Mbps and faster) Internet connection. For best results, ensure that others in your exam location are not using the same Internet connection during your exam.
